Celebrating National ASC Month

August is National ASC Month—a time to recognize the important role ambulatory surgery centers play in caring for patients and strengthening their communities.

At Bend Surgery Center, safe, high-quality, patient-centered care is at the heart of everything we do. This month, we proudly celebrate our dedicated staff, physicians and fellow ASCs across the country.

ASCs also help make healthcare more cost-effective. A recent study by KNG Health Consulting found that ASCs save Medicare more than $5 billion annually. When an eligible procedure is performed in an ASC instead of a hospital outpatient department, it can reduce costs for the Medicare program.
